Collect less. Explain more.

This practical notice describes how DJTalent.club handles account, profile and submission information. It is not bespoke legal advice.

Accounts and identity

We use a verified email address as the unique identifier for a DJTalent account. Auth0 processes email/username and password signups, email verification, Google and Apple sign-in. ChatGPT sign-in may also provide a verified email. Sign-in methods are linked to one DJTalent account only when the verified email matches.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to operate accounts, create DJ profiles and handle mix, event, opportunity, partnership and contact submissions. This may include a profile image, biography, location, experience, equipment, links and booking preferences. Account and event-organiser email addresses are never displayed publicly.

Event discovery and location

Event searches use the city, region, country, postcode or venue text you choose to enter. If you deliberately select Near You, your browser may share a temporary approximate position to complete that search. We do not request location on page load or store precise visitor location as a profile attribute.

Why we use it

We use account, profile and submission details to provide the service, protect member-only actions, review requests and publish content you have chosen to share. Auth0 sends functional account and verification messages. Newsletter consent remains separate.

Profile visibility

A DJ profile is private unless its owner selects the public-directory option. Only email-confirmed accounts can request directory inclusion or submit a mix. Opted-in profiles are reviewed before publication.

Storage and access

Structured account, profile, event and submission data is stored in the platform database. Uploaded profile images are stored in platform object storage. Authentication and authorised event-data providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, removal from the directory or deletion of information associated with you, subject to legitimate security and retention needs.

International use

The community is global, including people in the UK and Europe. The service aims to collect only necessary information and apply appropriate safeguards as the platform develops.
